Dr. Grafstein specializes in reconstructive urology, with a focus on urinary tract reconstruction, female urology, and the treatment of urinary incontinence. His reconstructive practice extends to continent urinary diversion, vaginal and pelvic floor reconstruction for pelvic organ prolapse, and repair of complex genitourinary fistulae.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Grafstein has authored numerous peer-reviewed journal articles, scientific abstracts, instructional videos, and textbook chapters. He is a frequent invited lecturer at academic institutions, speaking on topics such as urinary incontinence, continent urinary diversion, and urethral reconstruction.
